Lydgate Park is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Kauai, directly exposed to the northeast trade winds. The park has a rock-protected pool, but the kite zone is outside in the open ocean. Wind conditions are excellent and consistent, especially in summer. The spot is suitable for intermediate to advanced riders due to currents and possible swell. The sandy beach offers good water access.
