Vading Beach is a kitesurfing spot located south of Miami, on the shores of Biscayne Bay in the Cutler Bay area. This spot offers access to the protected bay waters with flat water to light chop conditions. The easterly trade winds blow across the bay, providing regular sessions. Less known than Hobie Beach, Vading Beach is a more local and peaceful spot, ideal for avoiding the crowds of central Miami. The bay is shallow in this area with a sandy and seagrass bottom.
The Biscayne Bay water body is shallow with a sandy and seagrass bottom. In trade winds, conditions are flat to lightly choppy. The water is warm year-round but can be more turbid than at central bay spots. Depth varies with the tide. The riding space is adequate in this southern part of the bay.
