Overview

Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a small beach village north of Fort Lauderdale, known for its coral reefs accessible from the beach. The east-facing Atlantic beach offers kitesurfing conditions with east and northeast winds. The village is popular for snorkeling and diving thanks to nearshore reefs. Small coastal village atmosphere, different from the Fort Lauderdale vibe.
