Gandy Bridge Beach is a spot located along the Gandy Bridge causeway that crosses Old Tampa Bay between Tampa and St. Petersburg. The sandbars and shallow areas on each side of the causeway offer flat and accessible water. The 360° exposure in the bay allows riding with most wind directions.

Heavy road traffic on the Gandy Bridge. Boat and jet-ski traffic in the bay. Sandbars barely visible at low tide that can cause collisions. Stingrays in shallow waters. Watch for bridge pylons and structures.
