Chisholm Park is a public park on the east shore of East Lake Tohopekaliga (East Lake Toho), near St. Cloud south of Orlando. This large freshwater lake (about 17 sq mi) offers good fetch and flat water conditions ideal for kitesurfing. The lake is one of the largest in the Kissimmee chain of lakes, in the Everglades watershed.

Large freshwater lake with good fetch. Sandy and muddy bottom. Flat water, excellent for freestyle. No tide. Aquatic vegetation (hydrilla, water hyacinth) possible in summer. Warm water in summer. Water level varies by season and rainfall.
Very frequent alligators in this lake — extreme vigilance. Bass fishing boats. Submerged stumps and debris along shores. Violent tropical thunderstorms in summer (lightning — exit the water immediately). Dense aquatic vegetation in places.
