Rocky Point is located on the Merritt Island barrier island, on the Atlantic coast of the Space Coast. The east-facing beach offers kitesurfing conditions with east and northeast winds. As the name suggests, the bottom features rock formations (coquina) in places. Local spot between Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach.

Submerged coquina rock formations — wear booties. Rip currents. Sharks. Jellyfish. Shore break over rocks with large swell.
