The South End is a kitesurfing spot at the southern tip of Tybee Island, facing the Atlantic. This south end of the island offers an open beach with good exposure to southeast and east swells. The spot is less crowded than the North End and offers more space. Sandbars exposed at low tide create interesting flat water areas. Good spot for wave kitesurfing in southeast swell.
