This legendary spot offers wave riding conditions with trade winds and south swell in summer. The coral reef creates consistent waves for surfing and kitesurfing. On the water

Hazards

Very shallow coral reef — major risk of serious injury. Sea urchins. Very crowded spot with surfers, bodyboarders, and kiters — strict right-of-way rules. Strong currents. Sharks. Protected turtles. Diamond Head residential area — respect neighbors. Limited beach access.
