Alligator Point is a narrow peninsula on the Big Bend coast of Florida, east of Apalachicola Bay. This isolated spot is located in a wild area between the tourist Panhandle and the Nature Coast. The peninsula is exposed to south and southeast winds. Advanced spot due to isolation, currents and lack of rescue services.
