Sunset Beach Park is a public beach in Tarpon Springs, on the Gulf of Mexico coast north of Clearwater. The west-facing beach offers kitesurfing conditions with west and northwest winds. Tarpon Springs is famous for its historic Greek community and sponge quarter. Less crowded spot than the Clearwater beaches.

Warm and relatively calm Gulf of Mexico waters. Sandy bottom. Moderate waves with west wind. Anclote River nearby can influence water quality and color. Sandbars at low tide.
Possible currents near the Anclote River mouth. Stingrays. Jellyfish in season. Fishing boats in the area. Less monitored area than major beaches.
