Bathtub Beach is a unique beach in Stuart (Hutchinson Island), famous for its natural sandstone reef that forms a protected "bathtub" at low tide. This Bathtub Reef creates a shallow and calm water zone behind it, offering unique conditions. At high tide and with sustained wind, the spot becomes more interesting for kitesurfing with waves over the reef.
Unique conditions created by the natural sandstone reef. Protected zone behind the reef at low tide. Waves over the reef at high tide. Sandy bottom and rock reef. Clear water thanks to reef protection. Possible longshore current beyond the reef.
