Sand Key Park is a public park located on the Sand Key barrier island, just south of Clearwater Beach Pass. The west-facing beach offers an open view of the Gulf of Mexico. It is a popular spot for kitesurfing and wingfoil with west and northwest winds blowing from the Gulf. The park has a large parking lot and public facilities.
