Kourou is a kitesurfing spot in the town of Kourou, French Guiana, famous for the Guiana Space Centre. Kourou's Kitebeach is one of only two officially authorized spots in French Guiana (along with APCAT in Rémire).

The spot works with all wind orientations and is particularly recommended three hours before and after high tide. Pointe des Roches allows wave surfing on the other side of the Kourou River and sailing in the river at low tide.

Wind is from the southeast in dry season and north in rainy season, with trade winds of 15-25 knots. Water is warm year-round.
