Parking
Parking is not an issue. If you're staying directly in Máncora, you can reach the beach within a 5 to 10-minute walk, or take a very cheap mototaxi.
If you prefer to bring your car close to the beach, parking is also not a problem.

Hazards
Máncora is a fairly safe place, as there are no dangerous currents.
From time to time, you need to watch out for fishing nets in open waters, near the shore, but this is very rare.
At the pointbreak, where the surfers are, you need to be careful of rocks, but you won't be kitesurfing there unless you're an advanced kitesurfer.

Wind specificities
The wind season here in northern Peru (Máncora, Lobitos), but also Pacasmayo, extends from mid-April to mid-January.
Our entire wind season in the far north (Máncora – Lobitos) (April – December) is great with excellent wind statistics (towards the end of December until early January, the wind starts to miss some days with the arrival of summer and the warm equatorial current from the north).
If you come for day trips with WildKite Peru to the spots around Máncora, on the Peruvian north coast, you'll have a 98.5% chance of riding every day!!!
(during the wind season: April – December). The wind comes from the southwest, starts around 12 pm and stops around 5 pm. In the small town of Máncora, where WildKite Peru is based, the wind statistics decrease a bit: 4 to 5 days a week. But it's an excellent spot for foiling, so in the end, you can kitesurf every day!
The wind direction (side-onshore) is ideal for beginners as it's very consistent and known to be the safest. The sandy beaches are endless and there are no crowds like you typically see in most kitesurfing spots around the world.
The only downside is that, statistically, we might lose 2 or 3 days each month due to waves. Indeed, when a large swell hits the north coast of Peru, there is no sheltered beach where we can avoid the waves.
