Pecém Reef is a kitesurfing spot located near the Pecém reefs in Ceará. The southeast trade winds provide 15 to 25 knots from July to February, very consistent along this stretch of coast. The reefs create a protected zone at low tide offering calmer conditions, suited to intermediate riders. Watch out for rocks at falling tide.
