Vlasoff Cay is a kitesurfing spot located on the Great Barrier Reef, off Cairns, in northern Queensland. This tiny white sand island in the middle of the reef offers a unique kitesurfing setting in the world. The spot works with the southeast trade winds from May to November. Crystal-clear and shallow waters over the reef. Access by boat or helicopter only. Reserved for expert riders and organized expeditions. Great Barrier Reef Marine Park protected area.
