Two Gut Pond is a kitesurfing spot located on the west coast of Newfoundland, near Stephenville. This coastal body of water offers interesting conditions for kitesurfing thanks to the regular winds sweeping the west coast of the island. The spot benefits from prevailing southwest to northwest winds, channeled by the coastal terrain. Conditions are influenced by Atlantic tides. The water is cold and requires a full wetsuit even in midsummer. The sailing season runs from June to September. This spot is suited to intermediate riders, with a water area that can offer flat water or chop depending on wind and tide conditions.
