Manuels Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland, in Conception Bay. This beach is near the town of Conception Bay South, about 20 minutes from St. John's, the provincial capital. The spot is exposed to prevailing southwest and west winds, with conditions influenced by North Atlantic tides. The water remains cold even in summer (thick wetsuit recommended). The water can be choppy when the wind picks up. The sailing season is short, from July to September. This spot is suitable for intermediate to advanced riders due to the cold water and sometimes demanding conditions. The proximity to St. John's provides all necessary amenities.
