Overview

Lake Svityaz (Shatski Lakes) is the largest natural lake in Ukraine, located in the Shatsk National Park in the Volyn Oblast. This spot is on the same lake as spot ID 5598.

The lake offers a 25 km² water body with very clear fresh water and a sandy bottom. Wind conditions are variable but often from the west or northwest. The open water kite season runs from May to October, with snowkite possible in winter.
