Hoek van Holland is a deepwater North Sea wavespot at the mouth of the Nieuwe Waterweg, famous as the starting point of the annual Hoek to Helder downwinder — a 130km coastal downwinder held in August-September. Kitezone between beach access points Badweg and Rechtestraat. Wind from SW can be gusty near the harbor entrance. Best season: March–August and December–January.

Deep water wavespot. Strong currents. Gusty with SW winds. Kite launch zone strictly between beach access points Badweg and Rechtestraat. Not suitable for beginners.
