La Hume is a kitesurf spot on the Bassin d'Arcachon (Gironde), at Gujan-Mestras on the south shore. This inner basin location catches the dominant South-West to North-West winds. Flat water in the sheltered basin.

Tidal spot — Gujan-Mestras is the oyster capital of the Bassin d'Arcachon. Be very attentive to oyster farm stakes and boat traffic from the many small oyster ports. Significant tidal range. A good flat water spot on the south shore of the basin.
