Poetto VI Fermata is the main kitesurf spot in Cagliari, on the famous Poetto beach — one of the longest urban beaches in Italy at nearly 8km. The spot is at the sixth tram stop (VI Fermata) of the Poetto seafront, the designated kite area away from the main bathing zones. The Maestrale (northwest) and southerly winds reach this stretch of coast. A convenient urban spot for Cagliari residents and a great base for exploring the Cagliari area.
