Österfjärden is a kitesurfing spot located in Västerbotten, on the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia. This east-facing bay offers good exposure to east and southeast winds. The body of water is partially protected by the bay's configuration, which limits chop. The spot is suited for intermediate riders. Access is easy from the coastal road. The Gulf of Bothnia offers northern Baltic conditions with cool and low-salinity water.
