Agios Ilias (Pirgi) is a spot on the west coast of the Peloponnese, in the Ilia region, near the town of Pyrgos. The west-facing beach faces the Ionian Sea and benefits from the NW Maestro as side-onshore.
Close to Pyrgos and the archaeological site of Olympia, this spot allows combining kitesurfing with cultural visits. The Ilia west coast offers kilometers of continuous sandy beaches, ideal for riding.
Afternoon sessions with the NW Maestro (May-September). Spacious beach. Conditions suited for intermediates.
Open water, moderate chop in Maestro. Sandy bottom, progressive depth. Warm water (24-27°C in summer).

Parking along the coastal road. Pyrgos a few minutes away offers all services. Access via Olympia Odos highway. Archaeological site of Olympia 30 min away.
Coastal currents in strong wind. Beaches sometimes deserted — sail in groups. Shore break with western swell. Little lifeguard coverage.
NW Maestro side-onshore, 12-20 knots in summer. W/WSW thermal breeze as supplement. Conditions similar to the whole Ilia west coast — steady, accessible wind, ideal for progression.
