Canasvieiras est la plage la plus touristique du nord de Florianópolis, très fréquentée en été. Le plan d'eau est calme et abrité, orienté nord, avec un vent de N et NE.

Les eaux chaudes et peu profondes en font un spot adapté aux débutants. L'espace peut être limité en haute saison en raison de la forte fréquentation balnéaire.
