Barra do Cauípe est le spot de la célèbre lagune Cauípe, près de Cumbuco au Ceará. Cette lagune d'eau douce offre un plan d'eau flat parfait pour les débutants et l'apprentissage du kitesurf et du wingfoil. Les alizés du Nordeste soufflent d'est à sud-est de juillet à février, un des meilleurs spots école du Brésil.
