The Launch is a kitesurfing spot located near San Remo, at the entrance of Phillip Island, in Victoria. This spot takes its name from the popular launch area among local kitesurfers. It offers a body of water in the strait between the mainland and Phillip Island, with significant tidal currents.

The prevailing southwest to west winds blow across the strait, creating dynamic sailing conditions. The spot is suitable for intermediate to advanced riders due to tidal currents that can be powerful. The water is generally choppy with good fetch.

Access is easy with parking nearby. Watch out for tidal currents in the strait and boats transiting through the channel. It is recommended to be familiar with the tide schedule before riding.
