Parham is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Gulf St Vincent in South Australia, north of Adelaide. It is a small coastal village in a rural area that offers sailing conditions in the shallow waters of the gulf.
The dominant wind comes from the southwest in summer. The gulf waters are very shallow in this area, with significant tidal flats at low tide. The bottom is sandy to muddy. Conditions are calm and suited for beginners.
The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners. Watch out for depth variations due to tides. Little infrastructure on site. Parham is a quiet place ideal for learning.
