Snells Beach is a quiet beach located north of Auckland, in the Mahurangi area. Facing east towards the Hauraki Gulf, this sandy beach offers a calm and sheltered body of water, ideal for beginners.
NE and E winds create pleasant side-shore conditions. The spot is less crowded compared to Auckland beaches. Close to Warkworth village and the Matakana wine region. Tides affect the water conditions.
