Waikuku Beach is a kitesurfing spot located north of Christchurch, on the Canterbury coast. This sandy beach faces east, towards Pegasus Bay, and offers an extensive sailing area.

The Nor'easter (NE) is the dominant wind, blowing onshore to cross-onshore. South winds are side-shore. The beach is exposed to waves from Pegasus Bay. The environment is more rural and less crowded than Christchurch beaches. Spot for intermediate riders.
