Warburto Point is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Spencer Gulf in South Australia, on the Yorke Peninsula. This headland offers interesting sailing conditions thanks to its exposed position in the gulf.
The dominant wind comes from the southwest in summer. The headland creates wind channelling effects. The gulf waters are relatively calm and shallow. The bottom is sandy with some rocky areas near the point.
The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders. Watch out for rocks near the headland. Little infrastructure on site, you need to be self-sufficient.
