Porangahau Beach is a kitesurfing spot located in the south of the Hawke's Bay region, on the east coast of the North Island. This isolated, wild beach offers vast stretches of sand in a rural environment.

Northeast and east winds are onshore. Southeast to south winds are side-shore and work well. The beach is very long and uncrowded, offering plenty of space. Be aware of the isolation: few services nearby. Spot for self-sufficient intermediate to advanced riders.
