Wallaroo North Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Spencer Gulf in South Australia, on the Yorke Peninsula. Wallaroo is a historic port town that offers good kitesurfing conditions in the sheltered waters of the gulf.
The dominant wind comes from the southwest in summer. Wallaroo's north beach is exposed to south and west winds, offering favourable sailing conditions. The water is shallow and relatively calm in the gulf. The bottom is sandy.
The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates. Wallaroo has all amenities: parking, accommodation, restaurants, marina. It is a popular holiday destination on the Yorke Peninsula.
