One Mile is a kitesurfing spot located on Lake Wakatipu, near Queenstown, in the Otago region, at 319 metres altitude. This spot is close to the famous tourist resort of Queenstown, offering a spectacular mountain setting.

Winds are channelled through the Lake Wakatipu valley. The Nor'wester from the northwest is powerful and gusty. Thermal southwest winds blow up the lake. The lake is long and narrow with a venturi effect. The water is very cold. No tides. Spot for intermediate to advanced riders.
