Grange is a kitesurfing spot located on Adelaide's metropolitan coast in South Australia, in the Gulf St Vincent. It is a popular seaside suburb with a historic jetty and a family-friendly atmosphere.
The dominant wind comes from the southwest in summer (thermal sea breeze). Conditions in the gulf are calm with small waves. The water is shallow and the bottom is sandy. The Grange jetty is an iconic local landmark.
The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates. Be careful to maintain a safe distance from the jetty. Parking, showers, toilets and cafés are available along the esplanade.
