One Tree Point is a kitesurfing spot located in the Whangarei Harbour, on the east coast of Northland. This spot offers sheltered water in the harbour, with a sandy beach facing southeast. Northeast to east winds are cross-shore. The harbour offers good protection from swell. Tides significantly modify the rideable area. The bottom is sandy. Spot suitable for beginners and intermediate riders thanks to the harbour protection.
