Overview

Power Station is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Northland, near Ruakaka, south of Whangarei. The spot gets its name from the proximity of the Marsden Point power station. Northeast to east winds are onshore and dominant. The sandy beach offers good water access. Pacific swell is present. The bottom is sandy. Spot for intermediate riders.
