Tennyson is a kitesurfing spot located on the north coast of Adelaide in South Australia, in the Gulf St Vincent. It is a residential seaside suburb that offers easy beach access for kitesurfing. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest in summer (thermal sea breeze), blowing cross-shore. Conditions in the gulf are calm with little swell and shallow water. The bottom is sandy. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediate riders. Parking in residential streets. The suburb is close to Semaphore and its amenities.
