Goats Beach is a kitesurfing spot located south of Hobart in Tasmania, in the South Arm area. This beach offers sailing conditions in the waters of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. The prevailing wind comes from the northwest to west in summer. Conditions are moderate with some protection. The bottom is sandy and the water relatively shallow. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediate riders. The water is cold, a thick wetsuit is required. Parking nearby.
