Bundegi is a kitesurfing spot located near Exmouth, in Western Australia. This spot is considered one of the best in the Exmouth area, offering sheltered water in the Exmouth Gulf with views of Cape Range National Park. It is a popular kitesurfing spot with warm turquoise waters all year round. The prevailing winds are the southeast trade winds that blow consistently during the dry season (April to October), offering ideal side-onshore conditions. The water is relatively flat and shallow, protected from ocean swells by the peninsula. The best kiting season is from May to September. Bundegi has a small campsite and a boat ramp. Exmouth is nearby for services. Watch out for tides, sharks (harmless whale sharks from March to July) and coral. Respect the Ningaloo Marine Park.
