Overview

Cremorne Beach is a kitesurfing spot located southeast of Hobart in Tasmania, on the east bank of the Derwent estuary. This beach offers sailing conditions in the sheltered waters of the estuary. The prevailing wind comes from the northwest to west in summer. The estuary offers relatively calm conditions with little swell. The water is shallow and the bottom is sandy. It is an accessible spot from Hobart. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediate riders. The water is cold, a thick wetsuit is required. Parking and basic amenities available. Quiet residential village.
