Marion Bay is a kitesurfing spot located on the southeast coast of Tasmania. This spot is a duplicate of Tasmania | Marion Bay (ID 3211) and covers the same sailing area on the Tasman Peninsula. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer. The bay offers moderate conditions with exposure to southern swells. The bottom is sandy. The water is cold. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders. Marion Bay is a quiet little coastal village. A thick wetsuit is required.
