Balnarring Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of the Mornington Peninsula, in Victoria. This quiet beach offers a relatively sheltered body of water in Western Port Bay, making it a spot suitable for beginners and intermediate riders. The prevailing southwest to west winds blow side-onshore on this south-facing beach. In summer, afternoon thermal breezes provide regular sessions. The water is generally flat to slightly choppy in the bay, with shallow areas at low tide. Parking is accessible at the beachfront. The beach is long and sandy, offering good space for kite launching. Watch out for sandbars and seagrass beds.
