Overview

Nyon is a kitesurf spot on the north shore of Lake Geneva, in the canton of Vaud. The spot benefits from the south-west wind (prevailing thermal afternoon wind) and the Bise (north-east wind). The area is accessible and offers good exposure. Kitesurfing is permitted from April 1st to September 30th on Lake Geneva. Nyon is a charming small town between Geneva and Lausanne.
