Australind - Leschenault Estuary is another access point to the Leschenault Estuary, near Bunbury, in Western Australia. This spot offers a flat and shallow body of water in the estuary, perfect for freeriding and learning. The prevailing south to southwest winds blow regularly in summer over the estuary. The water is sheltered, flat and shallow, ideal for beginners. The absence of waves and ocean currents makes it a very safe environment. Parking is available. Bunbury and Australind offer full services. Watch out for seagrass beds and respect the environmental protection zones.
