Flyvesandet is a beach on the north coast of Funen (Nordfyn), offering a very large shallow water area with sandy bottom. The spot works with a wide range of wind directions. In NE wind, the best waves form. In westerly wind, Æbelø island provides shelter and creates flat water. Launch area on the grass behind the beach.

Very large shallow water area with sandy bottom — standing depth far from shore. In westerly wind: flat water thanks to Æbelø island protection. In NE wind: good waves. At low tide, water becomes extremely shallow with rocks exposed on the flats.
PROHIBITED to ride south of the spot, in the Næræ Strand fjord — protected nature reserve (birds). Nature reserve also at the eastern end of the beach. Rocks exposed at low tide on the flats. No kite school or rental on site.
