Overview

Kosa Obitochnaya (Obytochna Spit) near Prymorsk is a sand spit extending into the Sea of Azov. It is a remarkable kite spot offering varied conditions on both sides of the spit.

On the north side (bay), the water is very shallow and flat, ideal for beginners. On the south side (open sea), there is slightly more chop for intermediate riders. The bottom is sandy and the water is warm in summer. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest.
