Malyki is a kitesurfing spot on the east coast of Sakhalin Island, facing the Sea of Okhotsk, in the southern part of the island. The spot is near Malyki village.
The beach is sandy and exposed to the Sea of Okhotsk. The water body is open with chop and possible swell. Conditions can become powerful when low-pressure systems pass through.
Prevailing winds come from the east and southeast. Season is short, July to September. Water is very cold (8-16°C), thick wetsuit required. Spot for advanced riders, remote environment.
