Zugersee (Lake Zug) is a demanding kitesurf spot in Central Switzerland, reserved for experienced riders. The only authorized launch and landing zone is at Badeplatz Brüggli, near the campsite.
The spot works mainly with West to Southwest winds and Föhn from the South. Wind can be very gusty with sudden changes. The launch area is partially in wind shadow with several trees on the terrain.
The ability to ride upwind is mandatory for this spot.

Main dangers:
Emergency exit: Best exit spot is the 2nd bay of Brüggli. In absolute emergency, exit anywhere but beware of private properties.
