Thiessow Ost is a kitesurfing spot located on the southeastern tip of the island of Rügen, on the Baltic Sea, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This exposed spot offers conditions for intermediate to advanced riders, with direct access to the Baltic Sea on the east side. The dominant wind comes from the southwest and west, but the spot also works well with northeast winds. The sandy beach allows for easy launching. Beware of currents and chop in strong winds.
